Do
you have any specialties?
I work with an array of clients seeking personal and
professional coaching. I mainly work with professionals,
entrepreneurs, leaders, and executives eager to make
personal changes, lead their own lives and lead others
more effectively. Some of the clients I have worked
with include: actors, writers, retirees, ministers,
CEOs, engineers, and students. Regardless of what field
you are in, or what stage you are in your life journey,
my specialty is to get you to live life to your fullest
potential, while maintaining a healthy and productive
lifestyle. Most of my clients are seeking balance, meaning,
or career direction in their lives.
What
is your coaching philosophy?
My coaching philosophy is based on the
belief that we were not created to live life alone;
we need co-pilots to help us navigate the ups and downs
of the journey. I am one of your co-pilots. As your
partner, I will help you ask the right questions, find
your own answers, create a plan to achieve your goals,
and capture your dreams.
How
long would we work together?
Most people hire a coach for a minimum of three
months, many for a year, and some for several years
(think about athletes who have coaches throughout their
career). Other people prefer to benefit from coaching
during a weekend workshop. Most often it will take 6
to 8 sessions to clarify your direction, look at options,
and develop a plan of action. A general rule of thumb
is: if it feels good and produces results, keep doing
it.
I
strongly recommend a minimum of 3 to 6 months. Short
term fixes seem helpful at first, but most people quickly
fall back into their old habits, thus becoming more
frustrated than when they started. Sustainable change
takes time and shortcuts short-circuit the coaching
process and your personal development. I recommend a
coaching package of 4 sessions a month, same day and
hour every week.
What
does it cost?
I became a full-time coach because of my
passion and commitment to help others succeed. Contact
us for current rates for one-on-one
coaching. I also work with clients who lack the resources
and want the support of a coach to go forward in life.
How
do I pay for your services?
You may pay with check, money order, MasterCard,
or VISA. Payment is required in advance and preferred
via Paypal.
What
is the free test-drive consultation?
The best way to decide if coaching is right
for you, is by trying it out. I offer a 30-minute free
coaching session to potential clients. In this session,
we briefly introduce each other and discuss key areas
of your life where coaching can have a positive impact.
You will honestly explore your commitment to success
in your life and achieving your goals. You will walk
away empowered with clear action steps. This session
is completely free and has no strings-attached. If we
agree on working together, we will set up a regular
day and time. Take

Do
you offer any probono or charity coaching?
I am happy to announce that yes, I have
offered pro-bono coaching to clients in the non-profit
sector as well as students with low or zero income.
However, I have found that most people are able to pay
a moderate amount for coaching services. Coaching, like
any paid personal development service, is more effective
if there is a transaction between the coach and coachee.
I currently have only one spot available for a 3-month
period (9 sessions). Contact
us to know if you apply!
How
long have you been coaching?
I have invested most of my life inspiring
people to thrive and live life to the fullest. I started
coaching professionally (formally started my coaching
practice) in 2006. I have been coaching people and organizations
in different capacities for 9 years now.
Where
did you learn to coach?
I am currently completing my training with
The International Coach Academy in Australia, one of
the leading coaching training organizations in the world,
fully credentialed by the International Coaching Federation
(ICF). ICF is the largest worldwide nonprofit professional
association of coaches. It sets ethics and standards
for the coaching profession and certifies coaches. Coaches
who are trained through an ICF accredited organization
are accountable to the ICF Code
of Ethics.
How
did you become a coach?
"Don't ask yourself what the world
needs - ask yourself what makes you come alive, and
then go do it. Because what the world needs is people
who have come alive." - Harold Thurman Whitman
People
make me come alive. There is nothing more exciting to
me than witnessing personal breakthroughs and success
in people's lives. In my role as coach, I have found
an abundance of joy and significance.
I
started my first business at the age of nine and since
then fallen in love with entrepreneurship and leadership.
My favorite part of developing projects was bringing
people on board and sharing my vision for success. I
often found myself drawn to people and spending most
of my time engaged in personal counseling, coaching,
and mentoring. The more this happened, the less
I wanted to be involved in day-to-day tasks and the
more I wanted to work full-time in supporting
people in life and work. That passion gave birth to
Leadership Fuel.
Why
do I need a coach?
Life is complex and we need co-pilots,
mentors, and coaches to support us in finding clarity,
making decisions, and maintaining focus. I believe people
need coaches and doses of high-octane-leadership-fuel
at different stages of life. Athletes, celebrities,
entrepreneurs, leaders, executives, teachers, students,
parents, brothers, sisters, young couples, old couples,
ministers, politicians, need a coach. We need coaches
to achieve our maximum potential.
What
can I expect from you?
I am committed to YOU and YOUR personal and professional
success. I will listen attentively and provide direct
and sincere feedback. I will empathetically share what
I notice, reframe the concerns/needs I perceive, and
help you to identify what inspires you. I will focus
on solutions, evaluate outcomes, maintain focus, and
work in partnership with you to reach your desired outcomes.
Is there a spiritual aspect
to the process?
Spirituality is at the core of who
we are and who we were created to be. However, I respect
each person's unique spiritual and religious preferences
and will not address these unless my clients want to.
Will my financial security
be addressed?
Yes, financial issues are an important
part of your life. My work is about helping you find
the work you love as well as doing work that meets and/or
exceeds your financial needs. We look at options together
until you find one that is the best match to your personal
and financial goals.
I have many interests and abilities.
Do I have to focus on one thing?
No. In fact, many of the people I work with
are multi-faceted. You have different options: as many
options as your time and energy will permit without
sacrificing your values, family, and a healthy and balanced
lifestyle. You can do several things that you love to
do. You can focus on one thing that will allow you to
do many things under one umbrella. You can also decide
a game plan where you do many things over the course
of a lifetime. Coaching will help you clarify the number
of options you would like to pursue.
Can
you recommend good books?
Sure, I created a webpage with a list of recommended
reading.
What
if I am not sure if I am ready to be coached?
Success in coaching depends on the client
more than on the coach. The coach will help you perform
at maximum capacity and get where you want faster. The
person being coached must be:
1) Honest with yourself and coach
2) Ready to bridge gaps and move into the future
3) Prepared to changes in perspectives, attitudes,
and behaviors
4) Invested in spending time reflecting
5) Convinced of the process towards a better you!
Allow
me to ask you: Are you ready to experience personal
growth and transformation in your life? Are you willing
to embark on a reflective and interactive journey that
will stimulate change in different areas of your life?
Are you excited to receive positive and constructive
feedback and accept new challenges? Are you ready for
a career change or to begin your own business? Do you
look forward to a personal or professional breakthrough?
Are you ready to step out of your comfort zone and go
beyond what you thought possible? Are you ready to see
life from a different perspective? Are you willing to
let go of unhealthy habits and toxic relationships?
Are you ready for a life filled with passion, significance,
creativity, and adventure? Are you ready to commit to
the coaching process? Are you ready to invest in yourself?
If you answered yes to one or more of the above questions,
you are ready for a coach!

test drive!
Can
I get a better idea of what coaching is? (free coaching
testdrive)
I offer a complimentary 30- minute test-drive consultation.
This consultation is for provided for people who are
serious about making changes in their life and/or work.
The purpose of this session is to provide further clarity
on the benefits of coaching, to explore if we are a
good fit for each other, and to ensure coaching will
make a significant and sustainable impact on both your
personal and professional life. This session is completely
free and there are no strings attached. I tell prospects
they can try coaching just like they try an item of
clothing; buy if you like or leave it with no obligation.
If
we agree on a potentially enriching partnership, we
will then discuss fees and create a coaching structure.
I will provide you with a packet that includes a contract,
policies and procedures, confidentiality agreement,
a sheet for personal information, and an intake form.
This intake form assesses where you are and what areas
of your life you want to work with.
If
we decided we are not right for each other, this complimentary
consultation will give you a sense of what coaching
feels like, and will help you move forward in the area
most important to you. My hope is that after this consultation
you take something you can immediately apply in your
life. I can also refer you to other coaches who may
be better skilled in a particular area you will like
to work on.
Why
are services conducted over the telephone?
Coaching takes place primarily over the phone. There
are several reasons coaching is more effective over
the phone:
1)
It is convenient. We can connect at any time during
the day and from wherever location without worrying
about traffic or being on time.
2)
It is good for both parties to maintain focus.
3) I am completely present to listen to my clients
concerns.
4) It is quicker than a face-to-face interaction.
Live meetings tend to take longer and are less focused
on a particular topic.
5) A telephone session cuts down costs in gas and
time, allowing the clients to quickly return to his/her
duties and responsibilities.
Who
pays for the telephone charges?
I cover all telephone charges - both local and international
- for all coaching sessions including the complimentary
consultation.
Can
I meet with my coach in person?
Most certainly you can. I often hear amazing stories
of business leaders who fly their coaches out and spend
a couple of days working on an array of personal and
corporate issues. Other clients visit their coaches
while on vacation or a business trip. Others invite
their coaches for a walk or a cup of coffee. Others
want to meet in person for the free consultation. I
am flexible to explore options that work best for you.
Coaching partnerships create long-term relationships.
Next time you come visit New York City, let me know
in advance, and we'll go get a cup of coffee at the
best place I know in the city.
How
Do I Get Started With Coaching?
"Do not wait; the time will never be 'just right'.
Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools
you may have at your command, and better tools will
be found as you go along."
- Napoleon Hill
